The lovely wooded hamlet of Ramshorn is only a 15 minute walk from the entrance of Alton Towers, the popular theme park. There are so many attractions and activities at the park and it caters for all ages and abilities. The nearby market town of Ashbourne is 12 miles away and offers a variety of shops and places to eat and has a rich history, making it an interesting town to explore. Chatsworth House and Park and the halls of Haddon and Hardwick are all within reach as are a myriad of fascinating little towns and villages such as Bakewell, Hartington, Tissington and many more. There are walks aplenty, golf, cycle trails and even rock climbing in this fabulous area making it a wonderful base for a family holiday.
