Newquay is a bustling, popular seaside town which has a number of pubs, bars, shops, aquarium and zoo. Newquay is also well known for surfing and fantastic beaches. Nine miles from St Columb Major is the pretty, fishing town of Padstow. Also nearby are some beautiful walks along the South West coastal path, which has some stunning scenery, and the walks take in rugged cliffs tops, lovely sand dunes and beaches. Within ten miles there is something for everyone, from stately homes and beautiful gardens to adventure playgrounds, theme parks and golf courses.
