Ty Kate is an end-terraced cottage in the village of Tanygrisiau on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage can sleep three people and has one double bedroom, a child's single and a shower room. There is also an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner. Outside there is parking in a free car park a one minute walk away and a rear patio with garden furniture. With Tanygrisiau Reservoir and Steam Train Station nearby, Ty Kate is a terrific base for your romantic retreat. This charming, end-terraced cottage is set in the village of Tanygrisiau in the Snowdonia National Park and can sleep three people in two bedrooms.

Tanygrisiau was famous for its slate mining, producing a high quality black slate that was used across the world. Its railway station is on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow gauge railway built to carry slate from the mines down to the sea at Porthmadog, today it is a renowned tourist attraction.
