Nestled on a gorgeous stretch of Berwickshire coastline, the village is close to St. Abbs Head Nature Reserve with its abundance of wildlife and bird watching. The Cheviots, Scottish Borders and the coastline all offer excellent walking and cycling possibilities to nature lovers, and a safe and sandy beach is less than a mile away in Coldingham. Berwick-upon-Tweed and its shops, museum and a castle, and the natural paradises of Holy Island and the Farne Islands are worth a trip. The lovely seaside villages of Craster, Seahouses and Eyemouth are also close, and the vibrant multi-cultural capital city of Edinburgh is less than 50 miles distant.
