Dacre is a small village within the Lake District National Park, just a couple of miles from the beautiful lake at Ullswater. Dacre has a pub, a castle and an ancient church. Five miles away is Penrith, with a further selection of amenities. The wonderful scenery, mountaineering opportunities and plentiful lake, water and mere sights of the region make this a great holiday base.
