The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with open fire. Outside there is off road parking for five cars and front and rear gardens. Sweeney's Cottage is an ideal base for families and friends who wish to explore the Ring of Kerry, or nearby Killarney National Park. This detached cottage is set close to the town of Killorglin and sleeps ten people in five bedrooms.

The town of Killorglin is situated in the heart of County Kerry, near the River Laune. The town is the gateway to the Ring of Kerry and offers cafes, restaurants and pubs, along with fishing on both the River Laune and at nearby Caragh Lake. The town is also home to the annual "Puck Fair", one of Ireland's oldest street festivals, held every August.
