Ebberston is a picturesque village that sits on the edge of the Forge Valley which hasbeen recognised as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village itself is small, comprising little more than a scattering of stone-built cottages and two pubs that serve good food and real ales to the locals and visitors alike. Adding to the chocolate-box effect, a stream runs through Ebberston and flows into the River Derwent.
