The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms - one king-size double and one twin, both on the first floor. There is a ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation is on the ground floor and is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire and patio doors leading to the front garden. The garden is large, with a lawned area, patio and furniture. There is also ample off road parking at the cottage. With the Peak District National Park on the doorstep and lovely villages and market towns to explore nearby, Spinney Farm Cottage makes a great Peak District cottage base. The conservation village of Bonsall is located at the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The village is named in the Domesday Book, with a history dating back to Roman times. The Barley Mow pub offers the World Hen Racing Championship's, which is held on the first Saturday every August. The village holds Open Gardens in June and a horticultural show in September. Great walks can be enjoyed on The Limestone Way, which passes through the village and on the High Peak and Tissington trails, which are nearby. Matlock is 4 miles away, and offers shops, good restaurants and Hall Leys Park. Visit The Heights of Abraham, Chatsworth House or the market town of Bakewell.
