This cottage sleeps up to six people and has three bedrooms, consisting of two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom (the twin bedroom gives access to the 2nd double and has no natural light) as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with coal effect gas fire and views of the canal. Outside, this cottage has off road parking for two cars in the pub car park next door and a gravelled area with seating. With its impressive mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee, the Vale of Llangollen is home to a number of pretty towns, internationally famous for their Musical Eisteddfod. Visitors can explore the surrounding valley by steam train or canal boat, or can try one of the many walking and cycling routes up to Castell Dinas Bran to enjoy the breathtaking view. The town of Llangollen offers a wide selection of pubs and restaurants in addition to many interesting shops. The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are close by, whilst a day-long car trail can take you to visit six of the 'Seven Wonders of Wales'. Offa's Dyke Path runs close to the town, offering a wonderful opportunity for walkers to see the Clwyd hills, whilst Snowdonia is less than an hour's drive away.
