Set alongside lake filled valleys in south west of Ireland is the town of Killarney. Attractions include the celebrated Ladies' View - named after Queen Victoria's Ladies in Waiting - and the MacGillicuddy Reeks, Ireland's largest mountain range. Visitors can hire a horse-drawn jaunting car to explore the exciting walks at the National Park, or enjoy in a spot of local fishing. A range of sandy beaches are within half an hour's drive, whilst the Ring of Kerry, the vibrant town of Tralee and the stunning Dingle Peninsula are all just a short distance away.
