Situated in the heart of County Kerry near the River Laune is the pretty town of Killorglin. Surrounded by great scenery, this little settlement is known as the gateway to the Ring of Kerry and offers a great variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs, along with numerous fishing sites, both on the River Laune and at the nearby Caragh Lake. Also home to the annual ‘Puck Fair’ - one of Ireland's oldest street festivals held every August – the town is well known across the country. The settlement is close to a choice of clean, sandy beaches and an abundance of golf courses in the area, whilst the delightful town of Killarney is also within easy reach and provides a selection of good shops, restaurants, bars and theatres.
