Note: Between 1st May – 30th September dogs are not allowed on the parade section of the beach. Guests can use steps around 350 yards from the cottage to reach the extensive dog friendly stretch of beach during this period.

Sandsend is a popular coastal village just 2.5 miles from Whitby. Sandsend has a long sandy beach, a shop and pub. The Cleveland Way trail runs through the village, and the Yorkshire Moors are easily reached.
