Porter's Lodge is a beautiful Polesworth cottage, occupying the first and second floor of one side of the medieval gatehouse leading to Polesworth Abbey, extending across the arched entrance way and can sleep two people. The cottage has a second floor king-size double bedroom with a sloping, beamed ceiling, a first floor bathroom and a first floor open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and full use of the Abbey grounds. Porter's Lodge is a lovely holiday base. This beautiful Polesworth cottage occupies the first and second floor of one side of the medieval gatehouse leading to Polesworth Abbey, extending across the arched entrance way and can sleep two people in one bedroom.

Note: Internal wooden staircase leads from the front door to the first floor accommodation with a further shorter staircase leading to the bedroom. Note: The bedroom has a sloping, beamed ceiling. Note: There is a pub and social club across the road and some noise may be heard.

The town of Tamworth is a large market town which takes its name from the River Tame which flows through the town, along with the River Anker. Tamworth is home to both Tamworth Castle and the Moat House, two wonderful, historic buildings. The town is also home to the Snowdome, a full-sized indoor ski slope with real-snow and Drayton Manor Theme Park is not far away, providing a fun-filled day out for everyone.
