Situated just 15 minutes walk away from the popular theme park of Alton Towers, Ramshorn is a peaceful little hamlet. The park offers many attractions for all ages and is a great place that caters for everyone. Ashbourne is a bustling market town only 12 miles away and has a variety of shops, restaurants and other amenities. There are cobbled streets and little alleyways waiting to be explored and the Georgian architecture is a delight. The Peak District and Dales countryside is close by and has many walks and trails, along with cycle paths and bridle-ways. More adventurous pursuits include rock climbing and pot holing. With so much on offer this area is a great holiday base at any time of year.
