Outside is plenty of off road parking, and gardens to the side and rear with furniture. Monkey Puzzle Place is a very cosy base for enjoying the coast, moors, cycling, walking and more. Local Area:
The village of Sleights is equally well placed for a coastal or countryside holiday. It is just four miles from the fabulous Yorkshire coastline and on the edge of the impressive moors. The village is peaceful but has a variety of amenities including a fish and chip shop, two public houses and a post office, as well as a selection of interesting shops and attractions. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway terminus is only a few minutes' drive from Sleights and there is public transport to and from Whitby, which is only four miles away. The port of Whitby has winding streets and dark hidden alleyways and was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The famous ruin of Whitby Abbey, high on East Cliff, is an impressive attraction and the village of Sleights makes an ideal base for exploring this stunning part of the country.
