There are many interesting shops, eateries and public houses in Fort William and the surrounding area offers a wide range of outdoor pursuits. A more sedate activity is a gentle cruise on Loch Linnhe where the wildlife of the area may be seen, along with majestic views of Ben Nevis. The Nevis Range offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter season and the summer sees the opportunity to ride the mountain gondola, the only one in Britain. This area is a perfect base for an unforgettable holiday for all the family.
