Note: The raised lawn is accessed up a few stone steps and has a sloping drop down to the cottage, young children should be supervised. Note: There are internal steps on the ground floor, therefore the cottage is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Ogmore-by-Sea is a scattered village situated 4.5 miles from Bridgend and 20 miles from Cardiff. The village offers a sandy beach at low tide and a shop/Post Office, whilst nearby there are pubs/restaurants. The small town of Bridgend boasts a designer outlet village, whilst Cardiff has shops and theatres.
