A short distance away are the beaches of Salthill and Spiddal and for fishing enthusiasts, the Ballyquirke and Ross lakes are ideal for coarse fishing, whilst Lough Corrib is famous for trout fishing. Attractions well worth seeing are The Connemara Marble Factory and the Celtic Crystal Factory and three excellent golf courses are nearby. A visit to this part of Ireland is not complete without a trip to the stunning Aran Islands. Moycullen is a perfect base for exploring this part of County Galway.
