The fishing village of Glenbeigh rests on the northern section of the Ring of Kerry, at the foot of the Seefin Mountain, just 8 miles from Killorglin. Set amidst spectacular scenery,this lovely village offers a wealth of traditional inns and good restaurants, whilst providing easy access to the Blue Flag beach at Rossbeigh Strand, a sandy beach stretching over 4 miles, renowned for its safe swimming, adventure sports and paragliding. The surrounding area boasts a wealth of activities including fishing, horse-riding, golf and canoeing, whilst the Coomasaharn horse-shoe mountain to the south, Seefin and Curra to the east and west and Slievemish to the north provide great walking opportunities and stunning views. With the pretty town of Killorglin also within easy reach, this beautiful area has plenty for all the family to explore!
