Goodrich is a small and picturesque village located in the shadow of Goodrich Castle which overlooks the Wye Valley and is very close to the Forest of Dean. The Wye Valley covers the borders between England and Wales and has been established as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, reflecting the stunning scenery and the abundance of wildlife that lives there. The Forest of Dean is one of the last ancient forests in Britain, covering over 110 kilometres of woodland and lies between the River Wye and the River Severn.
