In the centre of County Kerry, near the River Laune and surrounded by wonderful scenery, you will find the lovely town of Killorglin. As the gateway to the Ring of Kerry, Killorglin offers many pubs, restaurants and cafes. For those that like a spot of fishing, then there is the River Laune and the nearby Caragh Lake. Held in Killorglin every August is the 'Puck Fair', which is one of the oldest street festivals in Ireland. Nearby are stunning sandy beaches and the area boasts many golf courses. Killarney is only twelve miles away and offers a number of shops, bars, restaurants and theatres. A short drive from Killarney is the breathtaking Killarney National Park which is a haven for walkers and cyclists. Killorglin and Killarney are fantastic places to visit and along with the beautiful countryside, this is an area that you will not want to leave.
