Local Area
:

Hutton-le-Hole is one of North Yorkshire's most popular villages. The first thing that may strike you about the village is the number of moorland sheep that wander through, hoping to pick up scraps from the many visitors that this beautiful hamlet attracts all summer long. A stream runs through the centre of the village, adding to its chocolate-box appeal and also offers opportunity for a paddle during the hot weather. Just outside Hutton-Le-Hole, you will find one of the most remote pubs in the country: The Lion Inn. Pickering Castle and the North Yorkshire Steam Railway are just a stone's throw away, as is the Ryedale Folk Museum
