Dingwall is an attractive market town, just six miles from the village of Evanton and is located at the head of the Cromarty Firth. Today the town benefits from many amenities and the pedestrianised main street boasts a variety of small shops and speciality cafes. Visitors to the area can also follow the Dingwall Heritage Trail, a wonderful walk that takes just an hour and a half but that provides an insight into the area
