This is during the week only and not before 6:15am, and associated noise is sporadic.
Local Area:
The beautiful village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is surrounded by spectacular countryside. It has two pubs and a village store providing amenities for visitors, and the lovely old church of St Oswald’s was established in the 12th Century and has records dating as far back as 1556. The village is a perfect location for walkers and the famous Three Peaks Walk, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough offers some very challenging walks. Pot holers and rock climbers are also very well catered for, but if more gentle pursuits are the order of the day then a trip to nearby Settle to sample the tea-rooms and other shops should fit the bill. There are many attractions to visit in this spectacular area and Horton is the ideal village from which to see them.
