Outside there is an enclosed yard with furniture, and off road parking for one car. Henderson House is a great base for a family seaside holiday. A lovely holiday home in Amble, sleeping six.

Offering a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal bird watching walks though the Hauxley country park, Amble was originally a boat-building centre. Nowadays, the village has a new marina where large fishing boats land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters – all of which can be bought fresh at the harbour fish shop. Located a mile south of the village is the RSPB reserve, Coquet Island which homes a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks. Boat trips around the island can be arranged, and with Alnmouth, Craster and numerous other sandy beaches a short drive away there's plenty to do in the local area.
