Guillemots is a charming, traditional stone cottage, centrally located in the heart of the fishing village of Gardenstown on the stunning north east coast of Scotland and can sleep four people. The cottage is set over three floors and has a second floor double bedroom and a second floor twin bedroom with a basin and WC. There is also a shower room, a ground floor basin and WC, a kitchen with an AGA (in winter months), a dining room with an open fire and a sitting room with an gas fire. Outside there is nearby parking and a private, enclosed, decked terrace to the front with furniture. Guillemots is a wonderful base for your holiday near the coast. The village of Gardenstown was founded in 1720 as a fishing village. Gardenstown borders a small bay with stunning scenery flanking both sides. The neighbouring village of Banff boasts a relaxing sandy beach and Duff House, an impressive Georgian mansion open to visitors and home to paintings and artefacts from the National Galleries of Scotland. Banff also has a good selection of shops, restaurants and hotels which serve a fine selection of local sea foods.
