The charming, unspoiled village of Staintondale is on the edge of the North York Moors yet only a mile away from the coast. Staintondale has a post office and general store that offers a range of amenities and a tea-room. There is a Shire Horse Centre just outside the village and for something a little different why not try llama trekking or husky trekking, both available close to the village. With a network of footpaths and bridleways, the area has a lot to offer walkers and for other attractions and amenities Staintondale is within easy reach of Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay.
