Local Area
:

The beautiful Peak village of Longnor is located on the Staffordshire Moorlands between the River Dove to the East and the River Manifold to the West, making it an ideal location to see this stunning area. The village has numerous shops, a post office, excellent craft centre and a tea-room, and the village church is also of interest. The old cobbled market square is in the heart of the village and its history can be found on a board outside the market hall that shows the charges that stall holders used to pay. There are historic houses in the area, as well as Alton Towers, with its thrilling rides and lovely gardens and interesting towns that are all just waiting to be discovered.
