The cottage has one double bedroom and one single with an additional pull out bed, which with the addition of a family bathroom make it suitable for four people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a multi fuel stove. Outside the cottage is a small enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and off road parking for one car. Set in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park and with stunning views, Glan-yr-Afon Cottage is a superb cottage in a stunning location. This 18th Century stone built cottage is located in the village of Tanygrisiau near to Blaenau Ffestiniog and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Pub 20 mins walk. Lakeside Cafe 3 mins walk. Shops and amenities 1.6 miles. Note: The arrival time at this property is 5pm, and guests are welcome to stay until 12 noon on departure day.
Local Area:
Tanygrisiau was famous for its slate mining, producing a high quality black slate that was used across the world. Its railway station is on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow gauge railway built to carry slate from the mines down to the sea at Porthmadog, today it is a renowned tourist attraction.
