Dale Cottage is well situated for the amenities of the village or for exploring the Peal District as a whole, with wonderful walks and cycle trails easily reached. This end-terraced cottage in Youlgreave sleeps four people in two bedrooms.

Note: After parking, property is accessed up steep cobbled path, so care should be taken and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: There is a low wall in the garden so children and dogs should be supervised at all times.

Set in outstanding countryside, Youlgreave is an ancient village between the valleys of Lathkill Dale and Bradford Dale, two of the most stunning areas in the Peak District. It was once the centre of the lead mining industry but is now a charming tourist destination. The village has three public houses, all of which serve food, two shops, a post office and a beautiful medieval church with some parts dating back to the 13th and14th Centuries. The market town of Bakewell is nearby and has a wide selection of shops and eateries along with its Monday market. With so many stately homes, beautiful scenery and outdoor pursuits the Peak District has so much to offer as a holiday destination and Youlgreave makes a perfect base to explore this lovely area.
