Set on the stunning west coast of Anglesey, the popular seaside village of Rhosneigr has a rich history including tales of smugglers, off-shore shipwrecks and as a fashionable Edwardian holiday destination. The main draw today remains the stunning sandy beaches, offering a safe haven for bathers and those enjoying watersports, and providing some of the UK's best windsurfing and kitesurfing. The village has several pubs, restaurants and shops and for further amenities the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (the starting point for day-trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor are within easy travelling distance. Other interesting things to do include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving and golf, as well as fantastic walks through the surrounding area.
