The coastal village of Fairlight offers a village store with post office, pub and farm shop and is ideally placed between Rye and Hastings. From the village, there are many walks along the coast and along the cliff tops. Bird watchers should head to the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and with the RSPB at Lydd. Attractions nearby that are well worth visiting are the castles of Hastings, Bodiam, Pevensey and Camber, the busy seaside resorts of Hastings and Eastbourne, and the miniature Romney and Hythe Railway. Fairlight and the surrounding area have so much to see and do at any time of the year.
