The small fishing village of Kilmore Quay is situated in the southeast corner of County Wexford. Just 14 miles from Wexford town and 12 miles from the international ferry port of Rosslare, this attractive little settlement is famous for its whitewashed thatched cottages and impressive modern marina. Kilmore Quay is also an established centre for angling and boasts large numbers of fish in addition to the annual seafood festival in July. With fantastic wrecks between Hook Head and Carnsore Point, the area is also very popular amongst divers. With nearby Ballyteigue offering excellent walks along beautiful sand dunes, the area has plenty of walking opportunities.
