Adjacent to the owner’s property, this little house is ideally situated for a wander down to the harbour to watch the boats come in or a trip to the town’s excellent shops. Shops and restaurants 2 mins walk. Pub opposite property. Note: Second floor double room accessed via steep stairs, therefore may not be suitable for young children or the less mobile.
Local Area:
With winding cobbled streets and a harbour full of boats, Mevagissey represents the perfect Cornish fishing village. Sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves are waiting to be explored and stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, giving you plenty to see. Just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan whilst closer to home, the village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants. Also available in the village from Easter until September are ferry trips between Mevagissey and Fowey. Just seven miles away is Charlestown with its fish smokery, shipwreck museum and Tall Ships harbour. The Eden Project’s world famous tropical biomes are only a 10-minute drive away, as are the fabulous beaches and renowned gardens of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula.
