Bracken Edge is a detached bungalow in the North York Moors National Park, near to the seaside resort of Whitby. This cottage sleeps six people and has three bedrooms, consisting of one king double and one adult size bunks, both on the ground floor, plus one first floor twin, which is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, as well as a ground floor family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and open fire. To the outside of this cottage, there is off road parking for two cars and pretty gardens to the front and side with patio area and BBQ. Bracken Edge is a lovely family holiday home, within a National Park renowned for breathtaking countryside. This detached bungalow is situated within the North York Moors National Park, close to Whitby and sleeps six people in three bedrooms.

The village of Sleights is equally well placed for a coastal or countryside holiday. It is just four miles from the fabulous Yorkshire coastline and on the edge of the impressive moors. The village is peaceful but has a variety of amenities including a fish and chip shop, two public houses and a post office, as well as a selection of interesting shops and attractions. The North Yorkshire Steam Railway terminus is only a few minutes drive from Sleights and there is public transport to and from Whitby, which is only four miles away. The port of Whitby has winding streets and dark hidden alleyways and was one of the inspirations for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. The famous ruin of Whitby Abbey, high on East Cliff, is an impressive attraction and the village of Sleights makes an ideal base for exploring this stunning part of the country.
