With a monthly farmer's market offering a mouth-watering range of organic and home-made produce from farms nearby, it's easy for visitors to discover real, local food. This is also an excellent area for walking with the River Wharfe and extensive Grass Woods to the north offering stunning scenery as a backdrop. Bolton Abbey with its Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk" is close by and offers a number of interesting sights as does the elegant town of Ilkley, situated in the shadow of the famous Ilkley Moor.
