With one double bedroom and one twin as well as a wet room, this cottage can sleep four people in luxury. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a seperate study. Outside the cottage are spacious gardens with a patio area and garden furniture as well as off road parking for two cars. Off road parking for 3 cars - must be parked in the compound area and the gate kept closed at all times due to farm animals in adjoining fields. Spacious gardens and patio area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome (kept downstairs) by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 2 miles, pub 5 mins walk over fields.
Local Area:
Tiny Boldron is a settlement in the wonderful countryside of Teesdale, and is made up of a handful of stone houses, farms and a good local pub. Boldron is exceedingly well placed for those wishing to enjoy good walking in this part of the Yorkshire Dales, with the Pennine Way and Teesdale Way running very close by, and lovely walks by the River Tees and to the renowned High Force waterfall on the doorstep. The nearest town of note is Barnard Castle, whose cobbled characterful streets hold a variety of shops, pubs and eateries, and whose castle ruins and riverbank still offer a wealth of interesting afternoon strolls. With good access to attractions in the northern Dales and up into Northumberland, this is a great destination for your Yorkshire holiday.
