Scarrif is a large village in County Clare, set near the shores of Scarrif Bay, part of Lough Derg. The village is renowned for its angling, while the East Clare Golf Course is close by. More great golf can be found at Lahinch, within driving distance, which also offers a lovely long sandy beach. A slightly longer drive but still within easy reach are the impressive Cliffs of Moher, offering coastal walks with amazing ocean views and varied wildlife.
