Located on a small island in the south west corner of County Galway, the pretty village of Lettermore is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. Home to a welcoming Irish pub, a small convenience store and traditional butcher's shop, this village is situated in an area where the Irish language is still widely spoken. With incredibly picturesque surroundings, this is a wonderful place for walkers, cyclists and ramblers. The countryside is full of coves, beaches and inlets to explore and boasts great opportunities for sailing, fishing and scuba diving. The Connemara National Park is also within easy driving distance, whilst the renowned Aran Islands are located just off the coast in Galway Bay.
