Outside, guests have use of the dining terrace of the owner's restaurant and coffee house below, which can be accessed from the apartment's kitchen. There is also a parking permit provided for free parking near by. Baker's Retreat is full of character, with exposed beams and original trusses, and makes a wonderful romantic retreat for enjoying this beautiful medieval town. Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this character apartment is in the heart of the lovely town of Ludlow.

Note: Apartment reached via 16-step internal stairway, it is part of a 15th century building and the stairway to the bedrooms is steep, therefore this property may not be suitable for the infirm. Note: 10% discount on all restaurant meals (weekdays only). Note: Restaurant shuts at 5pm Sunday to Thursday, 11pm Friday and Saturday.

Situated on the River Teme, in the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches, is the historic market town of Ludlow. Ludlow is a wonderful example of a medieval settlement and its ancient street patterns remain almost intact to this day. The town also hosts approximately five hundred listed buildings, making a settlement full of picturesque streets and providing a beautiful backdrop to the regular street markets. Showcasing a range of local goods, these gatherings are held in the shadow of Ludlow’s famous castle and supply items from cheeses and fresh produce to books and local crafts. With a number of Michelin Starred restaurants in the town, as well as numerous tea-shops, pubs and inns, there’s plenty to see and do in the diverse local area.
