The house is located in a courtyard on the 70-acre farm and has bundles of rustic appeal with oak wood beams and other original features adding to the charm. Guests receive a complimentary welcome pack on arrival, which includes a bottle of wine, a loaf of homemade bread and some free-range eggs. The property is made up of 2 twin bedrooms, bathroom with separate shower and bath, a modern equipped kitchen and dining space and a large living room. The house is bright and airy throughout and there are some stunning views of the countryside available all around the house. Much Wenlock is a beautiful village that's over 700 years old and sits at the end of the Wenlock Edge, known for its walking, cycling and horse riding routes.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. Large 3 acre, lawned garden with 2 small fish stocked pools, garden furniture and BBQ. Two small dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. There is free private trout fishing on site (fish must be returned to pond). Shops and restaurants in Much Wenlock 3.5 miles, pub 1.5 miles. Note: There is a private spring water supply. There are two unfenced ponds in the garden - children must be supervised. Note: The doors at this cottage are not large enough for a wheelchair. Note: The mobile signal in this area is very poor.
Local Area:
The village itself is home to a plethora of shops and chocolate-box style cottages, as well as plenty of pubs and restaurants serving up anything from a light snack to a full-blown Sunday roast. There's much history to be seen in the area too including a Prior built in the 1100's, a Norman church and even the village’s old Gaol House. The popular towns of Bridgnorth and the foodie paradise of Ludlow are nearby. Much Wenlock is a great place to base yourself and family if you want to explore all that this part of Shropshire has to offer.
