Situated on the stunning Bay of Kenmare, the lovely town of Kenmare overlooks the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. There are beautiful, unspoiled beaches to explore, wildlife to be spotted and coastal paths to be walked. Kenmare is a fascinating town full of interesting streets that wind and wander along and house artist's galleries, little boutiques and some of the best restaurants in Ireland. The town of Killarney is only 25 miles away and has more amenities and eateries and is well worth investigating. Beara and Dingle Peninsulas are close by as is the Ring of Kerry - all places waiting to be discovered. With all the attractions on offer, one might think that things may be hectic, but Ireland is famous for its leisurely pace of life and it doesn't disappoint.
