Rhosneigr is a popular coastal village on the coast of the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. The village is well known for its huge sandy beach, which is something of a mecca for watersports enthusiasts, who flock here to enjoy the perfect conditions for wind- and kite-surfing, sailing and surfing. The beach is perfect for families to enjoy games, long walks, exploring the rockpools or simply paddling in the water. Rhosneigr has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The rest of Anglesey can be easily accessed from Rhosneigr; the beautiful NT mansion and gardens at Plas Newydd, the lovely town of Beaumaris, the beach at Trearddur Bay, not to mention the superb coastal walking and bird-watching available all over the island. Take a ferry over to Ireland for the day or head over the Menai Bridge into the mountains of Snowdonia, whatever you do, Rhosneigr is an ideal base.
