2 The Mews is a stone-built mid-terraced cottage in a sheltered courtyard to the rear of one of the oldest coaching inns in Middleton, close to Barnard Castle in Teesdale. With three bedrooms (one double, one twin and a single) as well as a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep five people. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a gas fire. To the outside of the cottage is an outdoor seating area in the shared parking area. Close to all of the amenities in the village, yet just a short drive from stunning countryside, 2 The Mews is bound to appeal to all visitors. This stone built mid-terraced cottage is located in the village of Middleton in Teesdale and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.

The pretty Pennine village of Middleton-In-Teesdale lies in the heart of Teesdale, perched on the riverbank in the beautiful Tees Valley. Situated in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', this is a well-served little settlement and offers a good range of shops, pubs and places to eat. For more specialist amenities, the market town of Barnard Castle is within easy driving distance and provides everything a visitor could possibly need. The surrounding countryside is full of excellent walking opportunities through high, open moorland and pretty wooded valleys. Nearby are the waterfalls of High Force and Cauldron Snout, which are often considered to be amongst the most spectacular sights in the district.
