Located at the mouth of the River Bandon, Kinsale has a magnificent marina, which often harbours luxury yachts and is home to numerous sailing clubs. There are also a variety of excellent restaurants and fashionable bars and shops. The town has a rich architectural heritage and history with interesting narrow streets that criss-cross the town. Within easy reach of Kinsale is the Blarney Castle, home of the famous Blarney Stone where you can leave with the "gift of the gab" if you are brave enough to kiss it! There are many places of interest, including Charles Fort and Desmond Castle, home to the International Museum Of Wine, and with the many attractions and activities in this area, there is something to ensure everyone will have a memorable holiday.
