Bellharbour is a tranquil Irish village situated on the most easterly point of Ballyvaughan Bay and only nine miles from the seaside village of Kinvara in south County Galway. The entrance into Kinvara is marked by Dunguaire Castle, where medieval banquets are still hosted, and the quaint harbour still holds working examples of 'Galway Hookers', the majestic sailing craft which used to sell their wares between Connemara & Kinvara. Home to numerous pubs, shops and eateries, and hosting two festivals celebrating culture and heritage each year, there is no shortage of things to do in Kinvara.
